It's supposed to be 80 and partly sunny today and yet the National Weather Service is sharing facts about early Winter Weather Advisories in Minnesota.
Today kicks off Winter Hazard Awareness Week and state officials want you to be prepared for the upcoming winter. Todd Krause is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service. He says pay attention to the forecast and be prepared.
The National Weather Service has expanded the Winter Storm Warning. It now includes more of our listening area -- including Stearns and Sherburne Counties. Benton County was already in the warned area.
The National Weather Service says a Winter Storm Warning will remain in effect until 7:00 p.m. tomorrow (Wednesday) night for parts of our listening area. Counties included in the warned area include: Douglas, Todd, Morrison, Mille Lacs, and Benton.
