Waite Park has announced they have canceled their annual summer celebration. Family Fun Fest organizers announced on their Facebook page Monday night that they've made the difficult decision to cancel all of the events for 2020.
Area kids got to be bakers for a day as part of the Waite Park Family Fun Fest celebration. Around 30 kids gathered at Community Park this (Thursday) afternoon to learn the art of decorating cookies, from applying the frosting to adding sprinkles thanks to the Cold Spring Bakery.
Today marks the final day of the week long celebration of Waite Park Family Fun Fest. A day filled with fun for the whole family which included the Grand Day Parade.
Waite Park's Family Fun Fest officially kicked-off on Sunday, but the next three days will be their busiest. Today's (Thursday) events are mostly for the kids, including a bike rodeo starting at 2:00 p.m. at city hall, and the Kiddie Parade starting at 6:00 p.m.
