The 4th of July travel weekend is underway for some and will be soon for others. Sargent Jesse Grabow from the Minnesota State Patrol and MN-DOT Regional Coordinator Bill Van Koevering.

St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis joined me on WJON this week. Mayor Kleis addressed listener questions which included concerns about traffic safety. He says traffic enforcement has always been a focus of the St. Cloud police department. He says he's in favor of red light cameras and the department has had trail vehicles that monitor high traffic areas and areas where speeding tends to take place.

Central Minnesota law enforcement agencies are hosting a traffic safety demonstration. It will be at the Cash Wise Foods store in Waite Park tomorrow (Thursday) from 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
