Road construction may cause some traffic delays in St. Cloud tomorrow (Friday).

The City of St. Cloud is reminding drivers to expect traffic closures along First Street North tomorrow (Thursday) evening.

Utility work will reduce a St. Cloud street to one lane starting tomorrow.

First Avenue South will be closed to through traffic today (Thursday). The road will be closed from Eight Street to 11th Street South. Adjacent sidewalks to the construction will also be closed. If weather permits the road and sidewalks will reopen on Friday.

Lane closures on Interstate 94 will be backing up traffic between St. Cloud and Clearwater starting next week.

Slowdowns are expected on Highway 15 in Sartell and St. Cloud starting Monday. MnDOT crews will begin working on the Highway 15/Stearns County Road 120 Diverging Diamond Interchange.

A major corridor through St. Cloud will cause some traffic delays starting Monday. The Minnesota Department of transportation will be re-paving Highway 23 from Cooper Avenue to one block west of Highway 15.

A traffic crash at the intersection of Division Street and Waite Avenue near Crossroads Shopping Center damaged the traffic light prompting a temporary shutdown later this week.

If you're heading up Highway 371 through Brainerd this weekend, be prepared for major delays. The Minnesota Department of Transportation says more than 100-thousand people will be attending the 30th annual Lucas Oil National Hot Rod Association Nationals at the Brainerd International Raceway.
