Parts of Central Minnesota were under a tornado warning on Wednesday afternoon. A tornado warning was put in effect from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for northwestern Stearns and Southwestern Todd County.
A line of severe thunderstorms pushed through central Minnesota Sunday night prompting dozens of warnings. High winds, hail and heavy rain pounded communities all across the area before moving out of the area at approximately 11:00 p.m.

The National Weather Service says two tornadoes were spotted Sunday in McLeod County and another twister was seen in Lyon County. Thunderstorms rumbled through parts of our listening area on Tuesday evening. The first storms started to pop up around 6:30 p.m. There were reports of golf ball size hail in parts of Stearns, Benton, Sherburne, Morrison, Todd and other counties. There were also reports of winds up to 60 miles an hour.
