The principal of Tech High School will be transitioning into a new position.

St. Cloud School Board Chairman Jeff Pollreis joined me on WJON today. He says discussions have taken place in regards to how Tech and Apollo will handle graduation ceremonies for the 2020 graduating class.

The Tech-Apollo football game to be held at the new Tiger Stadium will be a United Coaches. The game will be the first at the new Tiger Stadium at the brand new Tech High School campus.

The Tech Tiger boys basketball team hosts Apollo for the the last time Thursday at the old Tech building. The meeting will be the 117th of all time between the two schools with Tech holding a 70-46 advantage.

St. Cloud School District 742 Board Chair Al Dahlgren joined me on WJON today. He talked about the new school and says despite the long winter they are still on schedule and under budget with the construction of the new Tech High School on the south side of St. Cloud.

Tech won at 2nd seeded Rogers 40-14 Saturday in the Section 6-5-A semifinals. The Tigers will now play top seeded Elk River at Buffalo High School Friday night at 7pm. Elk River defeated 4th seeded Sauk Rapids-Rice 63-28 Saturday.

High School football section semifinals will take place Saturday throughout Central Minnesota.  In Section 6-5-A 3rd Seeded Tech will play at 2nd seeded Rogers.  The Tigers downed Monticello 62-6 Tuesday while Rogers received a first round bye...
