NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting that former Viking quarterback Tarvaris Jackson died in a car crash Sunday night in Alabama. He was 36-years old. Jackson was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2006 NFL draft by the Vikings and played 10 years in the NFL including his first 5 with the Vikings.

The Vikings have agreed to terms with free agent receiver Devin Aromashadu to a 1-year contract Tuesday. The 27-year old is 6'2 201 pounder had 10 catches for 149 yards playing for the Chicago Bears in 2010. He had 4 touchdown receptions for the Bears in 2009.
