State officials will begin conducting storm damage assessments today (Thursday) in several counties that have been affected by the recent storms. They'll be here in St. Cloud at 9:00 a.m. today at the Stearns County Emergency Management Office.

Wind speeds may have reached 90 miles an hour as a powerful storm swept through Sauk Centre on Sunday night. The National Weather Service says the power went out at the airport just before an official wind speed could be clocked.
