A toddler is recovering after falling out of a 3rd floor window in St. Joseph. Police Chief Joel Klein says it happened at about 5:50 p.m. yesterday (Monday) in the 400 block of 1st Avenue North East.

St. Joseph is looking to possibly update its city government building. The primary focus is on the Police Department, which operates from the building. A recent community task force study recommended the city update their government building to give the department more space.

Residents of a St. Joseph apartment building were evacuated last (Tuesday) night because of a fire. Police Chief Joel Klein says the incident started at about 6:20 p.m. at Hollow Park Apartments at 332 Cypress Drive.
