Eleven people have applied for the open school board seat in the St. Cloud area school district. The seat was left open after Cindy Harner resigned last month. Harner decided to step down after being arrested on suspicion of 4th degree DWI and 3rd Degree Test Refusal.

The St. Cloud area school board is starting the process of filling an empty seat left by Cindy Harner. Harner was arrested on May 13th on suspicion of 4th degree DWI and 3rd Degree Test Refusal. There will be an open application process for the open seat.

Despite dropping out of the race several months ago, Bruce Hentges won a seat on the school board and says he plans to take the position.

St. Cloud Area School board held their annual reorganization meeting tonight (Wednesday). The first priority was to elect a new chair.

A second levy question could be added to a ballot in the fall that would provide $2 million in funds to help renovate two stadium complexes in St. Cloud.

School to hear proposal to upgrade Clark Field. The board will be given a presentation by Tech Alumni Association President, Jim Dahl during their working session tonight (Wednesday).
