St. Cloud Police places mobile camera surveillance units in areas of the community where they have received calls from concerned citizens. St. Cloud Police Chief Jeff Oxton joined me on WJON.

The number of serious crimes committed in St. Cloud in 2014 was down, compared to the year before. And, serious crimes remains flat over a five-year period. Police Chief Blair Anderson talked about the numbers during a presentation this (Monday) evening.

The St. Cloud Police Chief Selection Committee has narrowed the field of candidates to three finalists. Five finalists were announced earlier this week and two candidates were dismissed following interviews Wednesday.

The city of St. Cloud has narrowed the list of police chief candidates down to five finalists. The group will be interviewed on Wednesday of this week.
