A local teachers union and school district are hard at work finalizing their plan for the upcoming school year.

Minnesota's influential state teachers union says it wants to shrink the state's achievement gap by shrinking class sizes and focusing on early childhood education for future students. The union is also calling for annual performance reviews for teachers. And they're endorsing it's version of alternative pathways to teaching.
