An event recognizing the 22nd anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks is being held in St. Cloud this week.

Two more old sections of the former St. Cloud Technical High School will be coming down in the next few months.

The new St. Cloud City Hall is set to officially open this week.

The transition of the St. Cloud City Hall from its current location on 4th avenue south and division street/highway 23 to the old St. Cloud Tech high school building continues. St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis says due to supply chain/technology issues the scheduled open house on February 28th has been moved to Saturday March 12th starting at 10am.

Construction to renovate the former Tech High School building into the new St. Cloud City Hall is in the final stretch.

It will most likely be a commercial building that gets built on the site of the current St. Cloud City Hall.

You should expect to see parts of the former St. Cloud Technical High School coming down as soon as next month.

Hot button issues included gun control, affordable health care, prescription drug costs, minimum wage and environmental issues.

There's a plan to redevelop a parking lot, and the site of an empty church, in downtown St. Cloud. During their regular meeting on Monday night, the city council will hear a plan for the city to enter into an agreement with Inventure Properties.

Local businesses are looking at options to make their companies more energy efficient. Today (Wednesday) business leaders met at St. Cloud City Hall for the 2014 St. Cloud Area Green Forum.
