Parks around the state are going to get a little brighter this winter. More than 30 candlelight events are scheduled at various Minnesota state parks and trails.
The sport of snowboarding is gaining some national spotlight thanks to the extending media coverage during the Winter Olympics. Snowboarding became an Olympic sport in 1998.
The lack of snow this season hasn't stopped skiers from hitting the trails and having fun. Even without the expected snowfall yesterday (Monday) many residents have been snow shoeing, fat biking and some skiing.
