St. Cloud Subaru is planning on expanding onto the former Shopko West lot.

As the two Shopko stores in St. Cloud wrap-up their last days of business, work is underway to find buyers for the buildings. St. Cloud Economic Development Director Cathy Mahelich was on the News @ Noon Show talking about their future.

Shopko is now closing all of its stores nationwide including both of its St. Cloud locations.

Shopko has announced another round of store closings, and the east side location in St. Cloud will be shutting its doors for good in May.

The last Shopko pharmacy in the Granite City will shut down for good after business on Thursday.

As expected, Shopko has announced a plan for financial restructuring, which includes filing for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and closing 38 more stores.

Shopko has announced the closure of six more stores in Wisconsin. The Wisconsin-based retailer announced late last year that it was closing 39 stores in 19 states by the end of February.

A pharmaceutical drug supplier to Shopko says the Wisconsin-based retail chain is expected to file for bankruptcy next week.

One of the two Shopko pharmacies in St. Cloud is closing. Spokeswoman Michelle Hansen says Shopko's St. Cloud East Pharmacy will be closing. The pharmacy files will be transferred to CVS. A sign inside the store says their last day is January 2nd.
