Whether its playing saxophone in band or boxing in the ring, Sauk Rapids Rice freshman Annabel Kelly has already found plenty of success in life. Kelly says her involvement in saxophone started in the 6th grade.
World renowned chef Jean Louis Gerin visited with students in the Sauk Rapids-Rice High School culinary program. Chef Gerin is the executive and chief operating officer for New England Culinary Institute in Vermont.
WJON's All-Star Student of the Week once again comes from the ProStart Culinary Program at Sauk Rapids-Rice High School. Madelaine Virchow has decided to pursue a career in culinary and hospitality. She was a member of the second place state culinary team last year. As a senior she hopes to make it to nationals.

Madison Waseca is the captain of the management team, and was a member of last years' second place state culinary team. She says her experience here is helping set her up for the future.
