Sartell Summerfest is back with a full schedule of fun things to do this week

Summer fun is coming to another central Minnesota city this weekend.

Sartell has a ceremony scheduled for June 9 at 8:30 p.m. to highlight the reopening of the pedestrian bridge to the community. The event coincides with this year's Sartell Summerfest celebration June 9-10.

Sartell's annual summer celebration is back in full force next week. Summerfest is scheduled for June 11th.

Sartell's annual citywide celebration kicks off Wednesday.

You can add a couple more city celebrations to your list of things to do this summer.

Sartell Mayor Ryan Fizthum joined me on WJON today. He says Sartell Summerfest will happen in 2021. He says they will follow guidance from the state and expect to have the parade and Libertyville amongst other activities and events. He says it's tough to do a parade without marching bands but he's optimistic that marching bands will be allowed to perform in parades this summer.

There will be no city celebration in Sartell this year.

The 27th annual Sartell SummerFest is this weekend.
