This week is National Volunteer Week and I talked with Samantha Switzer from the United Way of Central Minnesota about the volunteers who have worked with them. Sam is the Events and Brand Manager for the United Way of Central Minnesota.

A new farmers market is debuting today (Tuesday) here in the St. Cloud metro area. The St. Cloud VA Medical Center is hosting the weekly market every Tuesday through October 6th. The hours are from 3:00 until 5:30 p.m.

A Sartell woman is tempting you with her bite sized desserts. Today (Thursday) on the Successful Start-Ups segment on the News @ Noon Show, Sam Switzer talked about her business "Bite Size". It's a mini dessert company based out of her home.
