Sartell Mayor Ryan Fitzthum joined me on WJON today. Sartell will be adding a full court for basketball and other uses at Val Smith Park. The Val Smith Park court will be similar if not identical to the one currently at the Wilds Park in Sartell which is a full-court sport court. This addition was approved by the Sartell City Council last Monday.

Sartell Mayor Ryan Fitzthum joined me on WJON today. He indicated that the newly built public safety facility that is set to house the Sartell police and Fire departments will open August 17. He says the two departments will move in on that date.

He says Sartell is working with the DNR to add a fat tire mountain bike course at the Sauk River Regional Park behind Walmart/Sam's Club in Sartell. Fitzthum is expecting approval from the DNR for the course within the next couple weeks and hopes to have the course available this fall.

Sartell Mayor Ryan Fitzthum joined me on WJON today. He says he and the Sartell City Council are meeting tonight and plan to open up opportunities for outdoor seating in parking lots near bars and restaurants to help them when bars and restaurants can open to outdoor seating starting June 1.

Sartell Mayor Ryan Fitzthum joined me on WJON today along with newly hired Economic Facilitator Amy Trombley. Fitzthum says Trombley will use her contacts to reach out to private business to help encourage commercial development in Sartell.

Sartell Mayor Ryan Fitzthum joined me on WJON today. He discussed the multi-uses that a new Scheels Athletic Complex could offer. The uses include indoor golf, baseball and softball practices, lacrosse, and hockey games.

Sartell is working on a new housing development on the west side of town. Sartell Mayor Ryan Fitzthum joined me on WJON today. He said this new housing development will have their own wells.
