The Minnesota Timberwolves made several off-season moves that has brought renewed optimism to a club that hasn't made the playoffs since 2004 when they made it to the Western Conference Finals.

The Timberwolves have reportedly decided to hire Rick Adelman as its 10th coach in franchise history. Adelman is expected to sign a contract soon. Adelman was chosen over finalist Don Nelson for the job. Adelman is a 65-year old veteran head coach of 20 NBA seasons.
