A local electric company is now providing their customers with renewable energy as part of their community solar project. Stearns Electric has built 50, 410 watt solar panels that will produce a total of 20.5 Kilowatts of renewable energy for their members to buy.
A windmill project at the St. Cloud V-A Medical Center has been delayed after a crack was discovered on one of the turbine blades. V-A spokesman Barry Venable says they are waiting for replacement blades to be shipped here before the project can be completed.
