'Tis the season for potholes, and St. Cloud officials say they have set up a pothole hotline again this year.

A late spring and recent rainy weather has left St. cloud crews working to catch up on pothole repairs.

Fluctuating temperatures are doing a number on city streets.

Warmer daytime temperatures and freezing nighttime temps are the prime recipe for potholes this time of year. But, St. Cloud City Engineer Steve Foss says the drier than normal conditions this fall should help limit the number number of potholes this spring.

With temps in the 40's Sunday, melting snow has meant water in the streets. St. Cloud crews are out today addressing areas where water is pooling. Crews are also out filling potholes.
