Stearns County has a new Parks Director. County commissioners have appointed Interim Parks Director Ben Anderson to the permanent position.

Stearns County Parks Director Peter Theismann is retiring. Theismann has been the parks director since early 2013 when he was named acting director after the retirement of Chuck Wocken. He was named the permanent director in January 2014.

I'll was joined by Stearns County Parks Director Peter Theismann on WJON today. He talked about their plan to develop Kramer Lake. Theismann explained that he hopes to create a similar type of park area at Kramer Lake that has already been established at Warner Lake.
