Benton County has issued a no wake restriction on Little Rock Lake Tuesday due to the high water levels.

Department of Natural Resources Fisheries Manager Eric Altena says the early signs were encouraging with a five-foot clarity right after the drawdown last September and an eight-foot clarity on the north end of the lake in June.

The drawdown on Little Rock Lake and part of the Mississippi River is coming to an end this weekend. DNR Fisheries Manager Eric Altena says Eagle Creek will start closing the dam slowly starting Saturday.
