A levy for the operation of the new high school, security and grade re-alignment will be put before voters in the Sartell-St. Stephen district this fall.

Voters in the ROCORI school district may be asked to go to the polls for a special vote in November. The school board is considering asking for approval of a referendum for technology upgrades.

Benton County residents could see a slight decrease on the county portion of their property taxes next year if their property values stay the same, or decrease.

With the year quickly drawing to an end, Sartell officials are already discussing the city's 2017 budget and levy.

Sartell officials were presented another draft of the city's 2016 budget and levy during tonight's (Monday) city council meeting. The preliminary budget is around $6.3-million, which is about $1.3-million more than last year.

The Waite Park City Council will discuss the preliminary budget and levy for 2016 this (Monday) evening. The preliminary budget comes in just over $7.3-million, which is about an 8% increase over last year's budget.
