Election Day is just 4 weeks away and Stearns County Officials sat down with me on WJON to talk about the process and important things voters should know. Stearns County Auditor/Treasurer Randy Schreifels and Stearns County Director of License Centers and elections, Laura Laudenbach joined me on WJON.

I was joined today by Stearns County License Center Supervisor Laura Laudenbach on WJON. She says those needing to update their tabs can do so online, by calling 320-656-6540, or by using the West Service Center drive thru. She acknowledges going through the drive-thru can take up to 2 hours which is why she suggests people ordering their tabs over the phone or online.

The State of Minnesota continues to transition from a traditional drivers license/ID card to REAL ID and Enhanced IDs. The traditional IDs will no longer be accepted for domestic flights in October of 2020.
