Dozens of students at Rochester Public Schools won't be allowed to attend classes because they haven't been immunized.

Health agencies around the state are reminding you of the importance of getting your children the proper immunizations.

Improving the immunization rates among kids, that's one of the goals of a Stearns County Public Health Task Force. Public Health Director Renee Frauendienst says the rates have been falling.

The Minnesota Department of Health is taking its message about the importance of immunizing infants and children on the road Monday. The programs will be at 9:30 a.m. at the CentraCare Health Plaza in St. Cloud and at 1 p.m. at the Whittier Community Clinic in Minneapolis.
