A St. Cloud man is being held on $250-thousand bail after he was charged with first degree assault Monday. 23-year-old Ronnie Snelling was charged with one count of first degree assault with a dangerous weapons, causing great bodily harm.
St. Cloud police are investigating a report of gunshots being fired. Officers were called to the 1000 block of 10 1/2 Avenue South at about 11:00 p.m. last (Monday) night.
St. Cloud police say shots were fired at a south St. Cloud home early this (Tuesday) morning. Officers found two bullet holes in a home going through an upstairs bedroom.
Police are looking for whoever fired several gunshots in a St. Cloud parking lot early Sunday morning. Police were called to a business in the 3300 block of 3rd Street North at about 1:15 a.m. Officers say an altercation broke out in the parking lot and someone fired several rounds from a handgun.
The Bemidji Pioneer building has again been hit by gunfire. The bullets damaged glass in the paper's front entryway sometime Sunday. The paper says employees were likely in the building at the time of the shooting.
St. Cloud police say they have now arrested three people, after A loaded gun was found close to the scene. 24-year-old Craig Johnson of St. Cloud is expected to be charged with 1st degree burglary, 2nd degree assault with a deadly weapon, and felon in possession of a firearm. Two accomplices were also arrested, 22-year-old AC Johnson of St. Cloud and 25-year-old Chrishauna Moore of St. Cloud.
Someone shot a gun into an apartment in southeast St. Cloud. Officers were called to the 1500 block of Sherburne Drive Southeast at about 7:30 p.m. last (Monday) night for a gunshot complaint.
