A Minneapolis man convicted of threatening FBI agents who were conducting a terror investigation now faces a gun possession charge. Twenty-two-year-old Mohamed Ali Omar was charged last week with possessing a pistol in public without a permit, a gross misdemeanor.
A former St. Cloud man has been convicted of being a felon in possession of a handgun in U.S. District Court. A federal jury has found 35-year-old Jesse Lamond Jones guilty on one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm. He was indicted last December after he was arrested in connection with a series of four shootings in St. Cloud.
