Non-profit organizations and schools around the state will kick off a major one-day fundraiser this week.

The 11th annual Give to the Max Day is coming up later this month, but you don't have to wait until then to give to your favorite charity. You can donate anytime between now and Thursday, November 14th.

Minnesotan's were feeling very generous yesterday (Thursday), for the 4th annual Give to the Max Day. Nearly $16.4 million was donated to nearly 4,400 non profit organizations.

It's Give to the Max day - a 24 hour time window where your online donation to your favorite organization or school can be doubled - and local nonprofits have gathered together to promote it.

It's back - "Give to the Max" day is the one day a year where your donation to a nonprofit organization can go a lot further.
