Because of heavy rain this weekend near the headwaters, the Mississippi River in St. Cloud is under a flood watch.
On Monday night the river was at eight-feet.
It's expected to reach flood stage of nine-feet by Thursday morning, which will cause some minor flooding in low-lying areas...
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for the Mississippi River in St. Cloud. The watch will go into effect on Thursday, and remain in effect until further notice.
