The newly transformed Eddy's Resort on Lake Mille Lacs is open, just in time for the big fishing opener weekend. Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures unveiled the brand new Eddy's Resort this week, after a multi-million dollar redevelopment.

Work continues on a new resort on the western shore of Lake Mille Lacs. The Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe is spending about $10 million to build a new Eddy's Resort. Spokesman Jo Nayquonabe says the project was delayed this spring, because of the bad weather, which has pushed back the opening date from this fall to next spring.

The Mille Lacs Band Of Ojibwe has announced plans for a major redevelopment project on Lake Mille Lacs. Spokesman Joe Nayquonabe says they plan to raise the entire Eddy's Resort property, and build a new first-class resort.
