Dr. Ted Truitt

Spring, summer and early fall are prime times for seasonal environmental allergies in Minnesota. Dr. Ted Truitt from St. Cloud ENT joined me on WJON for a Health Matters program. He says things people tend to be allergic to that affect them this time of year include molds, trees and tree pollen.

This week on WJON's Health Matters program I was joined by Dr. Ted Truitt from St. Cloud ENT. Our topic is allergies. He says allergy sufferers are already seeing some concerns this spring. Trees a budding, grasses are growing and allergies are becoming a factor.

This week on WJON's Health Matters program I talked with Dr. Ted Truitt from St. Cloud ENT. We discussed the loss of taste and smell. This symptom has been associated with Covid-19 but Truitt says the loss of taste and smell can be signs of so many other things including a cold, sinus infection, and getting older just to name a few.

Dr. Ted Truitt from St. Cloud ENT joined me on WJON this week on our Health Matters program. We discussed the difference between strep throat and just a sore throat. He also talked about how a sore throat is a symptom of Covid-19. Dr. Truitt says acid reflux can lead to other throat problems that can include Barrett's esophagus, and esophageal cancer.
