St. Cloud State University President Dr. Robbyn Wacker joined me on WJON today. She says they have 5 reported COVID-19 positive cases on their most recent dashboard. She says they have a mask mandate, people are wearing masks on campus and in the classroom.

St. Cloud State University President, Robbyn Wacker, gave her State of the University presentation Thursday night.

Colleges and Universities have stepped up their aggressiveness in pursuing students over the past few years. St. Cloud State University President Dr. Robbyn Wacker joined me on WJON today. She says many schools are dealing with reduced enrollment but this hasn't caused them to lower their standards.

St. Cloud State University has adjusted how they prepare students for life after college because things have changed because of the pandemic. As a society we may have always been moving toward more remote job opportunities but the amount of jobs that can be done remotely has increased greatly in the past year and a half.

Minnesota State Colleges and Universities are mandating vaccines for all employees and some students. Those required to get a vaccine or weekly test include Students living in college or university-owned residence facilities, students participating in intercollegiate athletics and students required to vaccinate by their clinical or internship sites.

St. Cloud State University President Dr. Robbyn Wacker joined me on WJON today. She says people who have a MBA and/or graduate education during the pandemic were more likely to remain employed while those without that type of degree were more likely to lose their job.

St. Cloud State University President Dr. Robbyn Wacker joined me on WJON for our "My Life" series. Wacker grew up in the small town of Security, Colorado as the 3rd of 3 children. Her older sister is 12 years older and her older brother 4 years older. She says both of her parents valued education and her mother worked for the local school district for many years.

Due to Covid-19 St. Cloud State wasn't able to honor their fall semester graduates with an in-person ceremony but they will make that opportunity possible in March. St. Cloud State University President Dr. Robbyn Wacker joined me on WJON today. She says because they are limited to gatherings of no more than 250 people they are planning 6 different graduation ceremonies to honor their fall graduating class.

St. Cloud State University President Dr. Robbyn Wacker joined me on WJON today. She is happy with how the University staff and students have adjusted during the Covid-19 pandemic. She says they only have 10 students and 4 staff members who are positive Covid-19.

St. Cloud State University President Dr. Robbyn Wacker joined me on WJON this week. Dr. Wacker says St. Cloud State is seeing increases in positive Covid-19 cases among students and staff. She says they have adjusted almost all of their learning to distance learning with instructors working with students to adjust lesson plans to protect students and staff.
