The body of a trapper has been found in Douglas County. The Sheriff's Office says they were asked to do a welfare check on Friday on a 63-year-old man with a history of health issues. He had not been seen for about three weeks.
One dog is dead, and another is sick, due to blue algae poisoning near Alexandria, near Hoffman. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office says the water patrol received a report yesterday (Thursday) of two ill dogs after swimming in Red Rock Lake. One of the dogs later died.
