The City of Minneapolis is challenging a jury's $1.8 million award to the family of a man fatally shot by police in 2006. Attorneys for the city and the family of Dominic Felder are scheduled to meet in federal court Friday. The city argues the civil award is "grossly excessive" and that a new trial should be ordered - or the award reduced to $105,300 or less.
