La Cruz Community Center’s weekly English as a Second Language classes have continued, featuring lessons crafted with current events in mind.

The future of Medicare has been a hot topic on the campaign trail this election season. St. Cloud financial adviser Mark Reimer says he believes Medicare is a good system, and a necessary benefit for seniors.

St. Cloud Community Education is looking for a few volunteers. They're accepting applications right now for their advisory council. Community Education Director Adam LeClair says the council has always existed, but they're looking for a fresh start with new members.
