Cathedral Girls Soccer

The Cathedral girls soccer team lost 1-0 in an overtime shootout to Esko Thursday night in the Class A State Tournament Quarterfinals at Monticello High School. Esko beat Cathedral 3-1 in the shootout.

The Cathedral girls soccer team is playing East Grand Forks in the Section 8A final in Sauk Centre at 7:30 tonight. The Crusaders lost 2-0 to East Grand Forks in the Section 8A final in 2023 also in Sauk Centre.

The Cathedral girls soccer team is one win away from a State Tournament appearance. The 14-2-1 Crusaders will play East Grand Forks at 5:15 p.m. at Sauk Centre High School in the Section 8A finals.

The St. Cloud Cathedral girls soccer team plays in the Class A State tournament quarterfinals in Monticello at 5:30 p.m. tonight against 3rd seeded Winona Cotter. Cathedral is unseeded.

Cathedral head girls soccer coach Dick McMorrow has resigned his position. McMorrow had been the head girls soccer coach at Cathedral for the past 9 seasons and is the all-time winningest coach in Cathedral girls soccer history.
