While Sartell didn't come away with the grand prize in the Kraft Hockeyville contest over the weekend, Bernick's Arena did walk away with some funding for their second sheet of ice.
A problem with lack of parking near Bernicks Arena took a step forward. A public hearing was held during tonight's (Monday) Sartell City Council meeting for approval on a Conditional Use Permit for Pinecone Regional Park, which would allow for an additional 283 parking spots on the lot.
The first step on whether to expand the parking lot in front of Bernicks Arena in Sartell has been taken. Back in April, the council agreed to follow staff recommendation to delay engineering work until more overall site concepts were discussed.
