Riverside Park was the place to be for some fun activities this weekend

Over 100 kids participated in a free, annual skiing event in St. Cloud this weekend.

An annual event celebrating Norwegian culture and the sport of skiing returned to a St. Cloud park this weekend.

Kids from all over central Minnesota put their skiing skills to the test this weekend.

Central Minnesota youngsters can participate in a skiing event all their own this weekend.

Area families came out to Riverside Park Sunday to celebrate their Norwegian heritage at the 8th annual Sons of Norway Barnelopet.

Despite the expected cold weather, the Barnelopet will go on. The 6th annual Sons of Norway Barnelopet will be held on Sunday at St. Cloud's Riverside Park.

The snow has arrived, and now is the time to get your kids outside and on skis.
