Talks on whether an amphitheater should be built in Waite Park continued this (Monday) evening. Members on the Waite Park City Council and Park Board held a work study to discuss the findings of the market study approved back in June.

A study on whether an amphitheater should be built in Waite Park was approved by the city council this (Monday) evening. Two weeks ago, the council discussed the possibility of building an amphitheater on a newly acquired piece of Quarry land located southwest of Menards and the proposed Miller Architects hotel site.

How to utilize a unique park property was brought for discussion during this (Monday) evening's Waite Park Work Session. The city has acquired a piece of Quarry land which the city would like to turn into a park.
