He's an All-Star track athlete at St. Cloud Christian School, but Senior Brendon Jones has bigger things in mind after he graduates: putting his life at risk to protect others through law enforcement. Whether it's through his long-term goals or being a team captain for the Kids' Ministry Team at Joy Christian Center, Jones says he's always had a natural desire to serve and give back to others.

Making a difference can start with something as simple as an encouraging note. Sauk Rapids-Rice 7th grader Emma Johnson, along with over 20 of her classmates, recently made that difference by leaving post it notes with positive messages on everyone’s locker.

Sophomore Izzie Yaggie-Heinen has become famous among her classmates at Cathedral High School for her temporary tattoo creations. Her Henna tattoos have become so popular that classmates ask her to draw on their arms nearly every day.

Two players on the St. Cloud area Adaptive Floor Hockey team have been picked as top players in the state. Apollo and Tech freshmen Matt Neuman and Brian Jones both made the All-Tournament Team at state for adaptive floor hockey.

She may only be a sophomore, but Saint John’s Prep student Grace Knoblach has already taken part in well over a dozen on-stage performances. Grace put countless hours into playing Peter Pan, a character she called both challenging and rewarding.

With the ultimate goal of playing in an orchestra as a professional, St. Cloud Christian School junior Lilia Olsen has been excelling with clarinet for years. She’s been playing since the 5th grade and is now also playing in a youth symphony in the Twin Cities during the weekend.

Classmates and teachers all agree: senior Emily Robinson has a knack for getting stuff done. Robinson is making a difference as a leader at St. Cloud Christian School. She's student government co-president and has seen the group grow in size and significance.

A complete natural with classical guitar, St. Cloud Tech High School junior Connor Hanzsek-Brill recently earned a National Gold Medal for his performance. Hanzsek-Brill earned a gold medal for his performance on the classical guitar from the Royal Conservatory of Music.

With a quiet competitive spirit and ability to break plenty of records, senior Spencer Sathre brings a ton to the table for the Sartell-St. Stephen swimming team. Sathre says swimming has been a part of his life for a long time and he got an early start thanks to his Mom’s love of the sport.
