A recent scam to be aware of involves attempts to extort money from victims on dating sites. Alicia Mages from Tri-County Crimestoppers says this scam involves people posing as someone they aren't threatening individuals with photos they don't likely have and demand payment so these photos don't become public.

Waite Park Police are reporting a couple of theft from vehicles. Alicia Mages from Tri-County Crimestoppers indicates one happened on the 10 block of 15th Avenue North. A brown wallet was taken with cash and credit cards inside.

Sartell Police are reporting vehicle break-ins. Alicia Mages from Tri-County Crimestoppers says on 205th Avenue East vehicle tampering took place. A man was seen on surveillance video going through multiple vehicles between 2 and 3 a.m.

The St. Cloud Police Department are reporting a stolen vehicle on the 500 block of 12th Street South. Alicia Mages from Tri-County Crimestoppers says the vehicle is a silver 2015 Chrysler 200 with Minnesota license KMA 979.

The Sartell Police Department are reporting a pair of frauds. One happened on Oak Pond Drive where someone was scammed out of $15,000. Alicia Mages from Tri-County Crimestoppers says when the victim was on their computer the victim says the screen went out of control and indicated they had been hacked.

The St. Cloud Police Department are reporting a stolen vehicle on the 3700 block of 8th Avenue South. The vehicle is a 2014 red Yamaha YW125 Scooter with Minnesota license 65210MH.

The St. Cloud Police Department are reporting a stolen vehicle on the 1400 block of 8th Avenue North. Alicia Mages from Tri-County Crimestoppers indicated the vehicle was reported stolen on Sunday September 10th at 10:30 a.m.

Waite Park Police are reporting a theft from vehicle on the 1500 block of 7th Street South. Alicia Mages from Tri-County Crimestoppers explained the owner found the back window smashed out of the vehicle and a debit card was taken.

The St. Cloud Police Department are reporting a stolen vehicle on the 1800 block of 16th Street Southeast. Alicia Mages from Tri-County Crimestoppers says the vehicle is a 2015 black Dodge Dart with Minnesota license KBV 187.

The Waite Park Police Department is holding two separate home alone safety classes for children ages 9-12. The first class is Thursday July 20th and the 2nd is Friday July 21st.
