Kentucky State Police say the deadly crash happened shortly before 4:00 local time on Sunday afternoon.

The State Patrol responded to the fatality shortly after 8:45 Sunday morning. The drivers were the only people involved in the deadly crash.

Retired Mayo Clinic Surgeon Joseph Cass and his partner, North Dakota state lawmaker Liz Conmy lost their lives in the aviation disaster.

The criminal complaint was filed in Olmsted County Court on Thursday. The incident occurred Sunday.

A news release issued by the Minneapolis Police Department says the fatal collision occurred around 3 a.m. on Monday.

Preliminary information released by the State Patrol indicates first responders were dispatched to the deadly crash shortly after 2:00 Tuesday morning.

34-year-old Shane Roper is charged with second-degree manslaughter, criminal vehicular homicide, criminal vehicular operation.

They were riding in the only vehicle involved, which is being described as a pickup truck. The crash happened shortly before 6 p.m. Monday.

Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railroad spokesman Terry Cunha says the collision occurred around 6:30 Monday morning.

Preliminary information indicates one vehicle was involved in the crash.
