Since abortion was legalized nearly 45-years ago the March for Life Rally has been taking place every year in Washington D.C. and now a group of Central Minnesota students is joining in the march.
A pro-life organization stopped in St. Cloud Friday afternoon as part of a national initiative. Nearly 100 people gathered near the St. Cloud Planned Parenthood office at 451 East St. Germain Street to support the 40 Days for Life initiative. Mary Jo Ruhland is a coordinator for the St. Cloud group she says since 2007 they've been coming out and doing prayer vigils.

Minnesota senators have turned back a measure that would have led to twice yearly inspections and $10,200 licensing fees for clinics that provide 10 or more abortions per month.
