St. Cloud area residents anxious for a bit of normalcy in their lives came out to the sidewalks and streets to dine-out for the first time in two-and-a-half months Monday.
An official ribbon cutting ceremony will reopen downtown St. Cloud's 5th Avenue to traffic. The event will take place on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. outside the Metro Transit Station on the corner of 1st Street South and 5th Avenue South.
A major downtown St. Cloud street project is nearing completion, but it is going to take a little bit longer than originally thought. St. Cloud City Engineer Steve Foss says the 5th Avenue project was originally scheduled to be done by next Friday, the day before the big 'Takin' It To The Streets' concert.
St. Cloud is taking a step towards a possible $19 million retail-office building that would go in next to city hall. During their regular meeting on Monday night, the city council heard a plan for the city to enter into an agreement with Inventure Properties.
A new Pizza Hut-Wingstreet on 5th Avenue in St. Cloud is having its grand opening on Monday. The Pizza Hut is at 305 5th Avenue South, the building previously held a campus bookstore. The restaurant will also feature a full bar and sports bar atmosphere with several large TV's.
