St. Cloud Metro Area Unemployment Drops In May

ST. CLOUD - The unemployment rate for the St. Cloud metro area dropped last month.

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development says we're now at 4.0 percent unemployment.  That's down from 4.6 percent in April.

This is our lowest unemployment rate since October.

We're now below the statewide average of 4.6 percent, and the national average of 6.3 percent.
