ST. CLOUD - A St. Cloud man was arrested after an alleged burglary early on Monday morning.

The incident happened just before 2:45 a.m. in the 200 block of 9th Avenue South. St. Cloud Police say a woman reported that an unknown man was inside her residence.

When police arrived, 31-year-old Steven Well of St. Cloud ran from the scene in a vehicle and led police on a chase that ended in the 1100 block of 13th Street South, with Well stopping and running on foot. After a short foot chase, police caught and arrested Well.

Well is in the Stearns County Jail facing charges of 1st degree burglary, fleeing in a motor vehicle, 3rd degreee DWI, 2nd degree test refusal, driving after revocation, fleeing police on foot and driving the wrong way on a one way street.
