St. Cloud Air Travelers Pledge $6-Million to Attract Airline

ST. CLOUD -- Officials working to attract an airline to St. Cloud Airport have announced they have secured more than $6-million in travel commitments. It passes their goal of $5-million in luring an airline to come here.

The announcement comes on the heels of a trip to California where St. Cloud Airport officials met with prospective air carriers.

No deal was struck with an air carrier, but St. Cloud representatives are confident and some airlines have expressed an interest in learning more about the region.
