St. Ben’s Burns Hamline In Playoff Opener

The College of St. Benedict Blazer basketball team beat Hamline in the opening round of the MIAC Tournament.

St. Ben's topped Hamline 86-79 Tuesday night at Claire Lynch Hall in an opening round MIAC Tourney matchup. The Blazers will head to Moorhead to take on Concordia in the semifinals Thursday night.

Brianna Barrett had 28 points to pace the Blazers, and Whitney Canton added 23 points, including 13-13 free throws to seal the win.
